Peterborough native Barrett Hayton dropped into the Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame when his Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds played the Peterborough Petes November 30 2017.  Hayton,  a potential 1st round draft pick, is a second year forward with the Soo.  Hayton is seen posing with the sweater of his hometown hero Bob Gainey.

At the induction ceremony held November 11 2017 at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster British Columbia, Clinton “Jan” Magee was honoured posthumously with an induction into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.  Jan who passed away earlier this year was represented at the ceremony by his two sons, pictured here.   Link to CLSHoF story
