Frankie Collins
From 1918 to 1926, Peterborough native Frankie Collins was a star on the local baseball and hockey teams. In 1926 he centred a line with Ace Bailey and Biffer Ranger which won the OHA Senior Championship. In 1933 he was a member of the Canadian team (Toronto Nationals) which won the silver medal at the World Hockey Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia. The team was coached by Harold Ballard.
