Jack’s Golf Tournament Details Revealed

Tournament chair Doug Gibson welcomed members of the press to the Hall to reveal the details of the 33rd annual Jack’s Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame Golf tournament.

The tournament (again being held at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club) will take place on Thursday May 23rd, 2019.  It will be a double cross-over format, with foursomes being able to choose between playing a scramble or playing their own ball.

Entry fee, which is still $175.00, includes breakfast, lunch, on-course snacks, and dinner, thanks to sponsorships from Tim Hortons, Franz’s Meat Market, Freedom 55 & the Ruttle Group, and Darling Insurance.

Major sponsors of the tournament include: Molson’s – Joe Hawley, Darling Insurance – Peter Blodgett, Wiser’s Deluxe – John Grant, Sr., and RBC Dominion Securities.

Money raised through Jack’s tournament support our student athlete bursary program (4x$2000) and support the day-to-day operations of the Hall.

Those who register before May 18, 2019 are eligible for an early bird draw to win back the entry fee of $175.00!
