2017 Inductees Announced!

Mark Bedlington, Pat Devlin, Ernie Ferguson, Jr (son of Ruth & Ernie Ferguson), Jim Fife, Getha Sherry (wife of the late Donald Sherry)

More than 60 people were on hand to extend a warm welcome to the 7 named inductees of the Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame. Announced at a press conference at the Memorial Centre on Wednesday April 5, the newest members of the Hall include inductees:  Mark Bedlington (Shooting-Running Target Air Rifle), Pat Devlin (Boxing), Ruth and Ernie Ferguson (Figure Skating), Jim Fife (Softball, Hockey), Donald Sherry (Builder, Slo-Pitch, Softball, Hockey) and Estella Warren (Synchronized Swimming).

The 38th annual induction dinner will be held on Friday June 2rd at 7:00 PM the Evinrude Centre on Monaghan Road in Peterborough to formally welcome these 7 inductees.
