2016 PDSHOF Induction Dinner — a Sporting Celebration

Friday June 3rd, 2016, 6 honoured members and 2 honorary members were welcomed into the Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame.
Jamie Batley (Lacrosse), Karen Kost (Hockey Officiating), Randy Millage (Golf), Murray Fife, represented by his son Nick (Hockey), Luke McCabe (Honorary Member), Tim McCutcheon (Golf), Larry Floyd, represented by his brother Gord (Hockey/Lacrosse) and Peter Pearson (Honorary Member) were lead into the reception by bagpiper Reese Muir. In their acceptance addresses, each inductee spoke of the importance of the support they received from family and teammates, the excellent coaching they had received over the course of their careers, and the feeling of pride they now feel in giving back to the sporting community. They also noted how appreciative they were to have been given the opportunities to be involved in sport from such early ages.
