Jack’s Golf Tournament 2015- Another Big Success!

The sun shone, the wind blew, and the bugs were nowhere to be seen….another perfect day on the golf course.  Jack smiled upon us!

The day would not have been successful without the continued, and very much appreciated, support of the many sponsors, golfers, and volunteers.  Thank you for your generous contributions which help to keep the Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame open for all to see and reflect on our rich sporting history.

Six chippers made it to the final draw for the Kayak.  The golfers who landed their golf balls into the kayak include:  Don McKnight, Vinci Sebek, Rich Boyd, Jason Watson, Ryan Parrish, and Pat Russelle.  At the celebration dinner at the Evinrude Centre, Jason Watson was the lucky draw winner.  Grant Heffernan, who was “shaming” golfers into trying their luck chipping, landed the ball in on his first try!  Bragging rights anyway, Grant.

Chairman Doug Gibson thanks his dedicated  committee who worked tirelessly to put on another great tournament.  To Bob and Jan Dixon…Thank You!  The course was in perfect shape!
