Another Honour for Hall of Fame Member Glenn Pagett
Congratulations are extended to PDSHOF member Glenn Pagett after the announcement this week that a City of Peterborough park on Stoker Road is being named in his honour. While on city council, Glenn’s major contributions include amalgamating the parks and the recreation departments, making seniors’ bus passes available, the Kinsmen and Evinrude Arena project, his work with bringing the Canadian Canoe Museum to the city, and representing the residents of the Otonabee Ward so well. Typically, city parks are named posthumously, but Glenn is quite pleased to be able to celebrate this well deserved honour while still alive and well!
In addition to his civic life, he was a tremendous athlete in fastball, soccer and curling. For additional information click to read Glenn’s Hall of Fame recognition.
Congratulations, Glenn!
