Len Powers receives the “Bobby Allan Legacy Award” for his lifetime commitment to Lacrosse!
Len Powers, inductee of the Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame (2005), was presented with the “Bobby Allan Legacy Award” prior to the Lakers / Six Nations Chiefs lacrosse game Thursday night.
Powers was recognized for his lifetime of service to the game of lacrosse, and received the award from none other than 1980 Hall of Fame inductee Bobby Allan!
On a night to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1973 Peterborough Lakers Mann Cup championship, Powers stood among his former teammates to accept the honour.
Congratulations Len on this well deserved recognition for all you have given back to the game of lacrosse!
