Jack’s Golf Tournament Now Live
Tournament Chair Doug Gibson hosted a press conference today at the Hall of Fame, announcing our 39th annual Jack’s Golf Tournament is all set to go!
“Jack’s“, named after tournament co-founder Jack Gibson, father of chair Doug Gibson, said it is “important to carry on the legacy of both Jack, and co-founder Bob McGillen”.
This year’s tournament will be held on May 21st, 2026 at The Quarry Golf Club in Ennismore, hosting 240 golfers in a double cross-over format. Entry fee is $200 per player, and includes: coffee and muffins to start the day, lunch, on-course snacks, dinner and live and silent auctions. On course, players will compete in a putting contest, chipping contest, closest the the pin and longest drive challenges, as well as two holes in one competitions!
Gibson thanked the major sponsors of the tournament, including RBC Dominion Securities, Peterborough Lakers Lacrosse Club, Sirius XM Canada Inc., Merit Realty, Darling Insurance/Sentinel Risk Insurance Group, Molson/Coors, Colio Estates, Corby/Wiser’s, Merrett Home Hardware, OK Tire, Franz’s Meat Market /Porch and Pint,180 on Hunter, Flannigan’s Butcher Shop and Trent Valley Honda.
Doug also thanked the media for coming to the press conference and supporting the tournament and Hall of Fame.
Proceeds from the tournament continue to support our bursary program for high school athletes (4 x $2,000 bursaries) and the Hall of Fame operating fund.
