Condolences to the family of All-Round Athlete Fred Garvey

Condolences are extended to the family, teammates and friends of Hall of Fame inductee Fred Garvey. Mr. Garvey passed away April 22, 2021 in his 97th year.

Fred leaves behind his wife Teresa, and children Donna, Fred, Jr., Carmel, Elizabeth and Anne Marie.

It was his prowess in hockey and baseball that garnered Fred a spot in the Hall of Fame in 1992, but he also loved to play softball, football and was a boxer in the Royal Canadian Navy where he boxed with distinction at the 135 pound level!

A celebration of Fred’s life will be held “when life is good again”, according to family.
