Len Minty is the featured guest on YourTV tonight
Local sporting legend Len Minty will be interviewed tonight by Dan Malta, YourTV’s host of the series “Sports Legends of Peterborough & District”.
Len was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011 for his outstanding abilities in swimming and paddling. Len began swimming in 1964, representing PCVS at the Eastern Canadian High School Swimming Championships. He continued swimming while at Queen’s University. His Masters swimming career has seen him reign as Ontario champion 56 times!
His paddling career began in 1974 with the Upper Stoney Lake Annual Gull Rock Race. He won 16 years in a row! Canoeing, kayaking, dragon boat racing, Len has been involved in them all!

This series, which airs every Tuesday night at 8 PM on channel 700HD and channel 10 on Cogeco, introduces the community to the sporting careers of individuals inducted into the Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame.
