Jack’s Golf Tournament Cancelled

Jack’s Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame Golf Tournament has been cancelled for 2020.
Tournament Chair, Doug Gibson, today informed the Hall the organizing committee had “simply run out of time and options for our 2020 Tournament and we have now officially cancelled our 2020 Tournament!  Any number of reasons, from Government rules and regulations, to PGCC protocol, forced us to make the decision today.  We had lots of input from sponsors and players with suggestions for scaled down versions of our tournament but we ultimately made the decision if we could not run the tournament as we have in the past two years at the PGCC we would have to cancel!”
The Hall wishes to thank Doug and his committee for the extreme diligence they have given in trying to arrange for this year’s Tournament and for their continued support in carrying on Jack’s legacy and raising funds for the Hall.  We are certainly disappointed in the news but are completely supportive of the decision given the times we are operating in.  Jack’s Tournament has raised over $400,000 for the operation of the Hall over the past 33 years.
The Hall also wishes to thank all of the sponsors and players who have supported the Tournament over those 33 years.
The 2021 Tournament has been booked for Thursday May 20, 2021 at the Peterborough Golf & Country Club.
