Peterborough Challenger Baseball League to Represent Canada at Little League World Series in Pennsylvania

President Bernie Daynes, of the Peterborough Challengers Baseball League, has forwarded this information to us.  Congratulations on your LLWS selection, and best wishes to the team as they compete in Pennsylvania!
“The Peterborough Challenger Baseball League has been selected to send a team to the 2019 Little League World Series, in Williamsport Pennsylvania this August.

Challenger Baseball is a program that provides children, teens and adults with cognitive and developmental life challenges the opportunity to play baseball in a supportive, and instructive fashion.

The team from the local league will play in the LLWS Challenger Game August 25th with their counterparts from Malden Massachusetts.
15 players, two coaches and a coordinator will represent the city, the province, and Challenger Canada all who were chosen from a league that has nearly 80 players playing the game in two divisions.
The Rep Team provides an excellent cross section of the players in our program from Junior to Senior..
Peterborough Challenger Baseball becomes the first ever local baseball program to represent the City at the Little League World Series!!”
