Remembering George “Red” Sullivan

George “Red” Sullivan, the East City boy who played with 3 of the Original Six NHL teams, passed away January 19th, 2019 at the age of 89.
Mr. Sullivan is an honoured member of the Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame.  He was inducted in 1980 for his abilities and contributions to hockey, softball and baseball.

The PDSHOF would like express sincere condolences to Sullivan’s wife Marion, their four children Dan, Jane, Suzanne and Kate, as well as 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  A display featuring memorabilia from Red’s career is currently on display at the Hall in the Memorial Centre.
