Gainey and Allan to be Ontario Sports Hall of Famers

We extend our congratulations to Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame inductees Bobby Allan and Bob Gainey, who have been nominated for induction into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame.  Gainey, a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame as well, is being recognized for his outstanding hockey prowess.  Bob Allan, also a member of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, is inducted for his legendary lacrosse abilities.
Gainey and Allan will be formally inducted on October 2, 2017 at Toronto’s Westin Harbour Castle.
