Announcing the 2015 Annual Jack’s Golf Tournament

golf teeTuesday April 14th Doug Gibson announced details for the Annual Jack’s Golf Tournament.

The Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame will help run the 29th affair at the Pine Crest Golf Club on May 20, 2015

The entry fee has remained at $175 and includes the round of golf, in a double cross-over format, breakfast, lunch and dinner, on course snacks and Jack’s Hidden Treasure.┬áThe tournament will be┬álimited to 220 golfers.

There are special hole-in-one prizes, longest drive and closest to the pin contests and a putting contest.

There are special prizes and live and silent auction items including a set of skis from Tom Parnell Ski Shop; a pair of season tickets from the Peterborough Petes; Ripple Kayak from Adventure Outfitters and Paluski Boats; Gift Certificate from Jack’s Restaurant, Lakefield and Don Jackson and BBQ Smoker from Flannigan’s Butcher Shop.

Darling Insurance and Peter Blodgett; Molson and Evan Culbert and Corby’s with Derek Chambers and John Grant Sr. are the major sponsors. The gold sponsor is Peterborough Hyundai and Steve Atkins.

All proceeds from Jack’s Mulligans go directly to the Hall in memory of Jack.

The reception will be at the Evinrude Centre and feature a social time and dinner.

This tournament, a major fund-raiser for the Hall of Fame, supports our bursary program for high school student/athletes and the ongoing operations of the Hall.
