The Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame has lost a good friend. Neil “Harry” Harrison, an Honoured member of the Hall of Fame passed away February 24, 2014. Neil was a highly respected member of the curling community, remembered for his many contributions as World Champion player, coach and mentor to many athletes both young and old. His stories and his laugh will be missed around the globe. Neil is also inducted into both the Toronto Curling Hall of Fame and the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame — a fitting tribute to a world-class curler.
The Peterborough & District Sports Hall of Fame extend sincere condolences to the Harrison family.
